Read your class calendar
The Schedule page: four numbers, four views, and what the colours and badges on a class mean.
Schedule is your timetable as the week actually runs: every class, every seminar, every one-off, on one calendar. It is the page to have open when a parent asks what time the kids' class is, or when you are working out whether Thursday can take another session.
Steps
The numbers at the top
The header counts Classes this week for the next seven days, On the timetable, which is how many classes and one-offs exist in total, and the time of your Next class with its name underneath. If anything in the next seven days is cancelled, a red Cancelled tile appears beside them; when nothing is, the tile is simply not there.
A tile with nothing to say is dropped rather than shown as a zero, so the tiles you see always mean something. TipClasses this week counts sessions, not class types. A class that runs three times a week counts three.Four ways to look at it
The buttons on the right switch between Month, Week, Day and Agenda. Month is the shape of your week; Week is the one to plan mat space with; Day is the front desk's view; Agenda is a plain list, which is the one to read on a phone.
Today jumps back to now, and the arrows either side move a month, a week or a day depending on the view you are in.
Whichever view you pick, the Embed code and the public page show all four. Reading a class
Each block is one session: its name, its start and end time, and the colour you gave that class. A block badged Event is a seminar or a camp rather than a regular class.
A cancelled session stays on the calendar with its name struck through and a red Canceled badge. Hover it and the reason you gave appears.
Week view is where the gaps in your timetable are obvious. TipGive each class type its own colour when you set it up. On the month view the colours are what you read, not the words.Put it on your website
Embed this calendar at the top right gives you the code to drop this same calendar into your own site, and a link to the public version of it.
Set it up once and your website never has a stale timetable again.
What happens next
The calendar is built from your classes and your events, so nothing is edited here except cancellations. To change a class time, or to stop a class running altogether, edit the class itself under Settings. To add a seminar or a camp, use Events.
A repeating class is drawn out a year ahead, so you can look at next March and see it. That is the timetable projected forward, not a year of bookings.
Common questions
A class is missing from the calendar. Check the class itself. A class with Add to schedule switched off is a class you still have on the books but do not show.
Why does a class appear on the calendar but not on my website? The public page shows the same classes, so give it a moment and reload. If it is still missing, it is the Add to schedule switch.
Can I drag a class to a new time? No. Times are a property of the class, so change them on the class and every future session moves with it.
The times look an hour out. The calendar draws in your academy's timezone, set under Settings. If that is wrong, everything on this page is shifted by the same amount.
