What your Dashboard is telling you

The first screen after you sign in, and how to read it in thirty seconds.

The Dashboard is built for the walk from the car to the front desk. It answers three questions: how busy is today, who do I need to talk to, and how is the month going. Everything on it links through to the page where you act on it.

Steps

  1. Today at a glance

The top shows your academy, today's date, how many classes are on and which is next. The two tiles count who has checked in today, with a small line for the last fortnight, and how many students need a word, which means a declined payment or a long gap since their last class.

The needs-a-word tile is red when the count is above zero. It is the one number to act on.

  2. Quick actions

Three shortcuts sit under the header for the jobs that happen every day: Send Registration Link to get a new student signed up, Charge card to take a one-off payment, and Student check-ins to mark people present.

These are the same screens you reach from the left menu, one click closer.

  3. Needs a word today

Each card is one student and one reason. Red cards are declined cards, with how long ago and the amount. Amber cards are students who have not been on the mat for a while. Open in billing and Open record take you straight to them. The link at the top right shows the rest in Students.

Four fit on the screen. The rest are one click away.

  4. Mat traffic

The Mat traffic section compares today with the last two weeks, how many of your active members trained this week, and revenue for the month with failed and pending payments called out.

Trained this week is unique students, so someone who came four times counts once.

  5. Today on the mat

At the bottom, Today on the mat lists today's classes in order, with who is coaching and how many are booked. Full schedule opens the calendar.

The next class is highlighted so the front desk knows what is coming.

What happens next

Nothing to set up. The Dashboard reads from your students, check-ins and billing and updates every time you open it.

Common questions

Why does a student show as needing a word when they paid? The card shows the most recent decline. If they paid another way afterwards, it clears on the next refresh.

Can I change what counts as a long gap? Not yet. It is set at a fortnight without a check-in.

Can staff see the Dashboard? Yes. Staff see check-ins and classes. Billing figures show only to owners and admins.
