Your certificate and website badge

What you get when certification comes through, and how to put the badge on your website.

Certification is worth something only if parents can see it. Certificate & badge holds the three things that make it visible: the academy's certificate, a badge for your website, and a certificate for each coach.

Steps

  1. Before you are certified

The page works before certification, as a preview. The status line reads how many coaches and how many academy requirements are verified, and everything on the page is greyed until the last item clears. Nothing here needs setting up in advance — it issues by itself.

A preview, not a locked door. You can see exactly what you are working towards.

  2. The academy certificate

Once certified, the academy certificate PDF is yours to download, print and put on the wall by the front desk.

A PDF, so it prints properly rather than pixelating at A4.

  3. The website badge

The badge links to your public verification page, so anyone who clicks it sees your status from Roll Pay rather than from you. Take it as PNG or SVG, in a light or a dark version, whichever suits your site.

Two versions so it sits properly on a white header or a black one.

TipUse the SVG if your site will take it. It stays sharp on a phone, a laptop and a printed flyer alike.
  4. The embed code

If you would rather not handle image files, copy the embed code and paste it into your website — it is the badge and the link to your verification page in one line. Most website builders take it in an HTML or embed block.

Paste this and the badge looks after itself from then on.

TipThe badge address exists from the day you start. If certification later lapses, the same badge quietly switches to a grey status not current mark rather than breaking or lying.
  5. Coach certificates

Each coach's certificate issues at five of five, on its own, and is emailed to them. They are listed here too with their certificate number, so you can print one for a coach who has lost theirs.

Issued, with the date and the certificate number, or how far off they are.

What happens next

Nothing to renew by hand. As long as the credentials behind it stay current, the badge keeps showing certified. Let one expire and the page tells you which, and the badge changes to match — which is the point of it linking to a live page rather than being a picture you were once sent.

Common questions

The downloads are greyed out. You are not certified yet. The status line says what is outstanding.

Can I use the badge in print? Yes. Use the SVG for anything that will be printed large.

A coach lost their certificate. Print it again from this page, or have them download it from their own credentials.

We let something expire. Does the badge disappear? No, and that is deliberate. It switches to a grey status mark, so a stale copy of your website never claims something that is no longer true.
